Radiation Therapy : The Other Side

A skin expanding balloon was in was inserted in my forehead in October '07.

THIS WAS DONE AS DAY SURGERY

This was to be filled a little at a time until there was enough skin to strech over the void.

THIS WAS ABOUT HALF WAY

It was filled by injecting a saline solution through a valve on the side of my head

THIS WAS ALMOST FULL

What you are looking at above is where the scar tissue from the operation in June had come apart & had become infected. It was the 23rd of December '07.

I was admitted to hospital that day, operated on the next day & spent Christmas in hospital.
