Taking the staples out was quite intensive, more for the nurse's than myself as several of them were covered over by dry blood & had to be dug out.
So many staples were removed, nobody could keep count. For a few weeks later I kept fining the odd one that the nurses had missed
The stitches were even more difficult to remove, a stalpe is a single unit. Stitches on the other hand are sewn in a line & are the same color as my hair.
